Starbucks (Bedford and 7th, Williamsburg)

This Starbucks location in Williamsburg gets heavy traffic since it’s right by the Bedford Street L train station. It is a large space with plenty of seating and a Starbucks Reserve bar.

I won’t speak too much about the coffee. If you’ve been to one Starbucks, you’ve been to them all. The Reserve bar is nice though.

Even though there are a lot of people coming in and out, it isn’t too hard to get a seat. Many customers just take their drinks to go.  I only see 10 laptops so it doesn’t look like a lot of people come here to work. That may vary depending on the time of day.   Crowd is no longer hipster even in Williamsburg but, then again, it’s a Starbucks (not cool).

Service is efficient but not all that friendly. The space and bathrooms are also not that clean although not terrible either.

On the positive side, most off the seating seems to have access to power. As with all Starbucks, wi-fi is powered by Google and there doesn’t seem to be any issues with speed.

With all the outlets, this is a good spot to work. Bathrooms are serviceable but it would be nice it they were a little cleaner.

Ratings

  • Coffee: 7/10
  • Service/Cleanliness: 5/10
  • Workspace: 7/10 (outlets for everyone but could be cleaner)
